Stop by the table this Sunday to order a dozen (or two) Krispy Kreme doughnuts from our students! They are using this a fundraiser for Snowbird Camp this summer! Help them out. Doughnuts are $8/dozen and will be delivered next Sunday.
30 Hour Famine
The 30 Hour Famine is an event open to any middle and high school students. This year students and leaders will be focusing on the issue of local food insecurity. Many in Beaufort Co, do not know where their next meal will come from. For 30 hours, we will intentionally give up things we daily take for granted, specifically food and comfortable shelter, for the purpose of learning more about God’s heart for the chronically hungry through games, service projects, worship and bible study. Students will spend the night in their very own Cardboard Condo. This is a BYOC event (Bring Your Own Cardboard). Students will attend the 10:45 service at Live Oak Christian Church and then break their fast together over lunch.
Cost is $20 per person.
Meet at the Rotary Club Building at Oscar Frazier Park.
