This Sunday we will continue to collect bags of Thanksgiving food for Bluffton Self Help. Our partners as BSH have changed their format from an "adopt-a-family" to "client choice." This allows each family to come to BSH and pick out what they want for Thanksgiving. To help them stock their shelves, here's what we need you to pick up and put in the green bags this week:

Canned Peas, Canned Yams, Boxed Instant Potatoes, Boxed Macaroni & Cheese, Boxed or Bagged Stuffing Mixes, Canned Chicken Broth, Jarred Gravy  (turkey, chicken), Canned Pie Filling (pumpkin, apple, cherry), Rice, Boxed Cornbread Mix, Cranberry Sauce, Collard Greens, Cabbage, Plantains, Frozen Yucca.

Frozen turkeys and hams are also being accepted, but they must be delivered directly to Bluffton Self Help at 39 Sheridan Park Cir #10, Bluffton, SC 29910.

As we partner with Stop Hunger Now on November 22, all volunteers will need to register through their site. Please make sure to register here. Younger kids will not be able to help with the meals, so their focus will be the hygiene kits we are putting together for the Kairos Prison Ministry. (There is no need to register for the Kairos kits.)
